Terms & Conditions for Retreats / Events
1) General terms:
The retreat attendee is responsible for their own transportation to and from the retreat site. PureVeda highly recommends attendees obtain travel insurance to protect against unforeseen issues that may arise outside of the cancellation policy outlined below. In addition, it is recommended that all attendees have appropriate medical and dental insurance coverage as medical and dental coverage is NOT included, nor provided by PureVeda.
2) Payment & Deposit:
Pureveda collects a 30% deposit upon booking to reserve your spot. A refund of this deposit is offered for 5 business days after booking (as long as that does not fall within 60 days of trip start date). After the 5 business days (or if booked within 60 days of trip start date), the deposit becomes non-refundable.
The remainder of your payment is due 60 days prior to the start date of the retreat. If your retreat is booked within the 60 days of the start date, you are required to pay the full amount at the time of booking.
3) Cancellation & COVID-19:
All cancellations must be received in writing to valarie@purevedawellness.com.
Cancellations received prior to 60 days of the booked retreat start date: you will forfeit the non-refundable deposit.
Between 0-59 days prior to the start date of the booked retreat: no refund is allowed and you will forfeit 100% of your retreat fees paid including the deposit.
COVID-19: Please note we are unable to offer a refund if you cannot join the retreat due to having to isolate being a close Covid-19 contact with a friend or family member. We cannot offer a refund if you contract Covid-19 yourself and are unable to join the retreat. We highly recommend you purchase travel insurance for any Covid-19 related cancellations or delays.
Due to our commitment to accommodation providers, instructors, third party vendors, etc, we cannot make any exceptions to the above-mentioned cancellation fees for retreats or events, even if you are unwell. We do not offer any credit for arriving late or departing early, missing activities or not using any part of the scheduled program. Any refunds provided are at the discretion of PureVeda. We strongly recommend you purchase travel insurance.
If PureVeda is forced to cancel or change one of our scheduled retreats/events or their dates for any reason, excluding force majeure (see clause A), you may request a full refund to your original credit card/form of payment.
We are not responsible for any expenses incurred in preparation of any cancelled retreat/event – i.e. airplane tickets, other accommodation booked, travel insurance, airport transfers, illness, loss of work, etc.
Clause A - Force majeure: We will not be liable for cancellation, failure of, or delay in performing our obligations under this agreement due to force majeure events (Earthquake, hurricane, tornado, flooding, volcanic activity or other natural disasters, or in the case of war, action of foreign enemies, terrorist activities, labor dispute or strike, government sanction, blockage, embargo or epidemic) or if certain conditions present unacceptable danger to the attendee.
4) Intellectual Property:
All of the information, content and learning materials provided during a retreat/event is the sole ownership of PureVeda and may not be sold, replicated or reused in any fashion outside of the retreat / event.
5) Liability:
You acknowledge that you voluntarily take part in any retreat, day trip or event, and in any activities, classes and excursions arranged by us, organizers or third-party hosts, and insofar as legally permissible, waive your right to hold any of the organizers or PureVeda responsible for any loss or damage to person or property that occurs during our retreats.
You are liable for any damages to the property that are above $300 USD - please be respectful of the retreat site, your room and those who attend the retreat/event with you.
